Another Columbia Lakes Resident Applies

September 15th -- Local resident Brandon Worth has submitted his application to join the Columbia Lakes Fire Department.  Brandon brings much needed help in manpower, and a boost of much needed energy to the department as we continue to broaden our volunteer commitment to the community. Brandon has been working extensively on the primary firefighting techniques to provide assistance when called for on the emergency team. We truly appreciate another member of our community stepping up to serve in this vital position and becoming a part of our emergency response family. Brandon generously gives of his time away from his wife and daughter to serve you, his friends and neighbors, in times of need.  We will keep you posted as his process continues.  Thanks Brandon for showing your interest in serving your community.   You sir, are deeply appreciated.

Columbia Lakes is blessed with a professional...

October 1st -- As Columbia Lakes Volunteer Fire Department strives to acquire new members, Mr. Ryan Upton delivers a blessing as he asks for the opportunity to serve as a member of your Fire Department. Ryan is a local Paramedic who is extremely dedicated to his work. As a current member of our outstanding Central EMS staff, Ryan goes above and beyond to add another dimension to our fire department. Currently members of the CLVFD are working to obtain their EMT-Basic certification, Mr. Upton comes along and adds professional medical leadership as he gains the knowledge and techniques required to serve on the Fire & Rescue Groups. Dedicated individuals such as Ryan are a rare breed. Obtaining the skills and knowledge to serve in dual roles is a unique trait. As Ryan continues to work on his professional medical career, he now pries out time from his personal commitments and work to give even more to our community. The CLVFD is very blessed to have such an individual step up and give so unselfishly of themselves and looks to serve in any capacity it takes to help the CLVFD be a leader in the area emergency services. A very special THANKS! to Mr. Upton for demonstrating that when willing, we can do more for those around us. Ryan, You Sir, are a unique individual.
